Dean Gier reflects on the many extraordinary opportunities students have at SMTD – chances to connect with and learn from industry professionals, to workshop and premiere new (or newly discovered) works, and to have their own creations performed for engaged and appreciative audiences. These opportunities, coupled with training and mentorship from the faculty and the unending support of each other, help prepare SMTD students for whatever the future holds.
