Designed for students seeking thorough preparation for careers as soloists, chamber musicians, accompanists, and teachers. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in piano and have taken two courses in advanced piano literature.
Curriculum
The Master of Music in Piano Performance & Pedagogy requires a minimum of 31 credits. Coursework to include:
- Private piano lessons
- Piano Pedagogy
- Piano Ensemble
- Musicology, Music Theory, and/or Composition
- Piano Literature
Final Project
The presentation of a recital.
