Brad Balliett’s “Arboretum” for Multiple Bassoons

Faculty and Fellows of the NewBassoon Institute perform Brad Balliett’s “Arboretum” for multiple bassoons outdoors on the grounds behind the Earl V. Moore Building. The audience will walk among the players and immerse themselves in this unique site-specific work.

This outdoor performance is weather permitting.

Hosted each summer at SMTD, the NewBassoon Institute is a week-long workshop on contemporary bassoon literature, performance techniques, and pedagogy designed for college students and beyond.
