Bio
Emma Throm graduated from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s & Gender Studies, and a minor in Music. As a student, she was an Angell Scholar for five semesters, graduating with honors and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Hailing from Ann Arbor, Emma’s been passionate about music her whole life. During her time at U-M, she was highly involved in Arts Chorale and DJs A Cappella, serving on leadership for both groups. She spent the last two summers at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois assisting in both the Production and Development departments. Emma is thrilled to be back in Ann Arbor and serving the Engagement & Outreach Team at SMTD!
