Minor in Performing Arts Technology

Performing arts technology (PAT) is a rich area of study and practice integrating music, science, engineering, and humanistic inquiry to explore the many ways that technology can impact the performing arts. With the minor in performing arts technology, students can gain experience with the theories, tools, and techniques of PAT without an audition process. The curriculum is flexible, providing freedom to select classes spanning a range of technical and creative applications, with a balance of theory and practice. With specialized instruction from expert faculty conducted in state-of-the art facilities, the minor in PAT offers creative and critical approaches to working with technology that are highly relevant and deeply complementary to a wide variety of programs and majors.
