The University Philharmonia Orchestra invites you to a program about nature, bird song, and the thrill of taking flight. Jan Sibelius’ Symphony #5 is paired with UPO conductor Jayce Ogren’s Intertidal, which brings the murmuration of shorebirds to life through music. SMTD Concerto Competition winner Nathan Landers will be the soloist for Oscar Navarro’s colorful Concerto II.
