Founded in 2019, Qingyun is the University of Michigan’s first and only Chinese music ensemble, composed of approximately 30 talented musicians dedicated to preserving and innovating within this storied tradition. Our program features masterworks performed on guzheng, pipa, erhu, dizi, and other traditional instruments, highlighting the dynamic interplay between tradition and modernity.
