The UPO gives the first performance of a Bruckner symphony by a U-M orchestra in over two decades. Bruckner’s farewell to life and music is one of the most moving works in the repertoire, paired in this program with Leopold Stokowski’s opulent arrangement of Debussy’s The Engulfed Cathedral.
