Student quartets from the MPulse Tuba & Euphonium Institute perform a recital.

The MPulse Tuba & Euphonium Institute – one of SMTD’s MPulse performing arts summer programs for youth – is directed by SMTD Professor of Tuba & Euphonium David Zerkel. This one-week program for high school aged low brass players includes private instruction, chamber music, classes on tone and technical development, and intensive work on developing musicality.
