This discussion is designed to enlighten and inspire young musicians by taking the mystery out of what I feel is necessary to find one’s path in the music business. Ten concepts are shared which all illuminate personal attributes often forgotten as we study music. All of the ten were realized through my own mistakes and shortcomings. My wish is to transparently share these with people who have doubt as to how they should proceed in this wonderful, daunting life as a musician. It is real world advice; no nonsense advice; get real advice. Examining your own motives, developing key relationships and embracing change are discussed. International Musician, Modern Drummer and Muso Magazine have published excerpts from its contents.

Talk followed by a Q&A
