The PAT (Performing Arts Technology) Studio Coordinator presents a workshop in flash-n’-trash style lighting for live music:
• Beginner friendly
• Learn lighting fundamentals
• Learn to program stage lighting in grandMA3
• Build a busking show file
• Run a show with timecode

Learn the fundamentals of lighting design, from designing your show in Capture to performing your show in GrandMA3. We’ll primarially focus on “live busking” shows where everything is performed live, but also touch on timecode shows as well. The workshop will run 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

A Windows or Mac laptop is required.

In-person participants must register on Sessions@Michigan. Capacity is limited. Located in room 2235, Moore Building.
No registration is required for Zoom participants.
