Joined by fellow bass faculty, Robert Hurst, and SMTD colleagues Matt Albert and Naki Kripfgans, as well as graduate students Stephen Castiglione, Luis Gutierrez, & Max Winningham, this one-hour concert will celebrate the expressive range of the double bass from lyrical romantic string oeuvres to jazz improvisation duets and grooving Swedish fiddle tunes.
