Bio
Thomas Laub, Executive Producer of Runyonland Productions, is a three-time Tony Award-winning producer and studio executive with an extensive background in global production and studio infrastructure. Alongside his business partner, Alyah Chanelle Scott, he founded Runyonland in Ann Arbor in 2018, which is thriving as a full-service production company for Broadway, off-Broadway, touring, television, film, and special events, with a hands-on approach and a passion for bold, unapologetic storytelling.
As the youngest lead producers in Broadway history, Runyonland quickly grew a reputation for bringing hyper-local, hyper-relevant pieces of theater to life both in NYC and across North America. In recent years, Runyonland has been a part of some of the most innovative, unique, and critically-acclaimed shows on Broadway and beyond, with a focus on telling stories from bold artists while leveraging innovative business practices. Select credits include John Proctor is the Villain, All Nighter, Appropriate, Gutenberg! The Musical!, Passing Strange, The Wiz, David Byrne’s American Utopia, Parade, Ben Platt: Live at the Palace, The Old Man & the Pool, Slave Play, and The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window.
Formerly the Head of Production Planning for Apple TV+, Thomas now serves as the VP of Studio Strategy for the Shadowbox Studios film infrastructure portfolio. Previously, Thomas handled revenue analytics at Disney. Beyond his work, he loves spending time in planetariums, hiking, and planning to get a cat named Goose.
