Sophia Sofferman is a founding partner of the entertainment law firm, NTSS Law. Based in Miami, Sofferman, 38, who got her start working in the music business, including working in production living “on the road,” touring with Joe Walsh of the Eagles. She then went on to serve as legal counsel at Rimas Entertainment, LLC, (Bad Bunny’s record label), and after transitioning to private practice, now represents media and entertainment companies in various transactions, as well as artists, record labels, music publishers, musicians, songwriters, influencers, and production companies.
Sophia routinely mentors and guest lectures at law schools, while giving back to the music community. She is a professional member of the Recording Academy and the Latin Recording Academy and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Governing Committee for the Entertainment and Sports Industries. In 2024, Sophia was named to the 2024 Hollywood New Leader list by Variety and most recently, the American Bar Association recognized Sophia among the top 40 lawyers under 40.
