Richard Lindsay‘s technical, production, and design credits include: Adrian College, Capital Rep, Albany, NY; BoarsHead Michigan Public Theater, Lansing, MI; SF Bay Area Performing Arts Alliance, Palo Alto, Ca; Huntington Summer Arts Festival, Long Island, NY; Tibbits Opera House, Coldwater, MI; Lansing Community College, Lansing, MI; Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Jackson, MI; Festival of New Works, Ann Arbor, MI; Wild Swan Theatre, Ann Arbor MI. He received his theater degree from the Conservatory Program at Purchase College (S.U.N.Y. Purchase).

Lindsay’s duties at the University include technical direction of Department of Theatre & Drama productions assigned to the Walgreen Drama Center Scenery Shop. These productions are built almost entirely by new undergraduate students in the School of Music, Theatre & Dance. Small group instruction is one of his favorite aspects of his job. Somehow Lindsay finds time to squeeze in some teaching duties as the instructor for scenic construction and technical direction classes. He also has instructed students in an introduction to CAD drafting for the theater.

Lindsay is married and is has two grown sons. Lindsay enjoys Pokemon having years of experience as a contracted premier event/tournament organizer for the Pokemon Company International. He has enjoyed judging the official National and World Championship. He is also an avid Geocacher. Most recently he has been involved in vintage camper restoration and traveling with his wife to visit family and explore the USA.
