Jessica Woodman

Bio
As Assistant Director of Development, Jessica Woodman is responsible for leading a comprehensive stewardship program that creatively and strategically acknowledges, recognizes, informs, and engages donors. She partners with colleagues to develop and implement stewardship plans for all major donors to the school; she manages donor stewardship events like Scholarship Showcase, Collage Concert Reception, and campaign events; and she oversees the annual scholarship thank you process and creates other personalized donor impact reports. She has been a stewardship professional in the SMTD Office of Advancement since 2018.
Prior to her work in development, Jessica spent several years as a choral music educator and conductor. She is an alumna of the School of Music, Theatre & Dance, having completed a doctorate in choral conducting in 2018. Alongside her development work, she served as artistic director of the Detroit Women’s Chorus from 2018 to 2021.
