Garrett Lefkowitz joined SMTD after serving as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Training Programs Operations Coordinator, a role in which he managed the day-to-day operations of the DSO’s Civic Youth Ensemble Program. Prior to that, Garrett held the Operations Director position at Youth Orchestras of San Antonio (YOSA) in San Antonio, Texas. Garrett also spent two summers acting as a seasonal programs assistant for Interlochen’s College of Creative Arts, Interlochen’s adult programming division.
