Bio
Garrett Birk is a musician, educator and arts administrator from Ann Arbor, MI. Prior to joining SMTD, he served as a Music Educator in Cleveland, OH. As an educator he taught K-8 General Music, Middle School Band and Choir, and High School Band. He is an active trombonist and continues to teach lessons in his private studio. Garrett obtained a Bachelors and Masters of Music degree from Ohio University in Athens, OH, where he also met his wife, Katie. Garrett is thrilled to be home and to be a part of the Engagement & Outreach team!
