MPulse Finale Recital: Percussion Institute

As part of U-M’s MPulse summer programs for high school youth, the MPulse Percussion Institute centers around lessons on marimba, snare drum, timpani, drum set, and percussion ensemble, with exploration of non-Western musical traditions, improvisation, musical technology, and how to prepare for college auditions. The MPulse Percussion Institute is led by SMTD faculty Doug Perkins and Ian Antonio, with Paige Madden.

Join us for a final concert by the MPulse Percussion Institute students as their week-long program on campus comes to a close. Featuring participants Sophie Abell, Paul Brooks, Lucy Canel, Jo DeNamur, Henry Jones, Jackson Keller, Aidan Lenski, Aurora Monahan, Dominic Prezza, & Ella Zimmerman.
