Michael Votta (BM ’79, MM ’81, clarinet; MM ’80, conducting) – conducting professor and the director of bands at the University of Maryland School of Music – serves as president of the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA), a term that began in 2024 and will conclude in 2027.
