Double bass classmates Bob Phillips (BM ’76) and Tim Staudacher (BM ’76) play in an Irish/bluegrass/American folk band, the Langford Lads (with friend Larry Halverson), almost 50 years after graduation. Both were bass students of Larry Hurst but play guitar, mandolin, and Irish tenor banjo in the group as well as sing. (Fall 2025)
