Composer/lyricist Mark Kurtz (BM ’93, composition) and writer/director Fran Sillau recently collaborated with Sonia Sotomayor to adapt her No. 1 New York Times best-selling children’s book Just Ask! into a musical. The show premiered in January 2025 at the Coterie Theatre and was featured at the Theatre for Young Audiences/USA festival in Bethesda, Maryland, in May.
