James Johnston (BM ’81, composition) released two compositions in fall 2025. The first work, Man from the Hudson, is scored for orchestra and narrator and deals with the life and times of American poet Walt Whitman. The second work, Lux Aeterna, presents a sonic meditation on the metaphysical journey of light, blending orchestral, ambient, and progressive rock textures.
