Elaine Harriss (PhD ’81, music education), professor of music at the University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM), was inducted October 6, 2023, into the Steinway & Sons Piano Teachers Hall of Fame as a member of the hall’s fifth induction class. Harriss has taught piano for over 50 years.
