Steven Gross (BM ’76, horn), Phil Ficsor (BM ’97, MM ’98, violin), and Colorado pianist Gabriel Bita – the new Metropolitan Trio – performed the world premiere of Jennifer Higdon’s Trio for Horn, Violin, and Piano on January 26, 2026. The concert was presented at the King Center Concert Hall in Denver.
