In July 2024, Sommer Forrester (MM ’08, PhD ’15, music education) traveled to Jordan, where she served as a member of an esteemed artistic faculty who coached the Palestinian Youth Orchestra. In addition, Forrester was recently appointed to the Journal of Music Teacher Education editorial committee.
