Robert Petters (MM ’67, PhD ’74, music education) teaches an online class, “Introduction to Musical Experiences,” at North Carolina State University, and he conducts the community orchestra the Really Terrible Orchestra of the Triangle (RTOOT). He is also the co-orchestrator of Claude Smith’s Emperata Overture, originally for concert band. (Fall 2025)
