Ryan Shaw (BM ’06, MM ’11, music education) was awarded tenure and promoted to associate professor of music education at Michigan State University. Shaw also recently published research in Arts Education Policy Review and the Journal of Research in Music Education, and was appointed associate editor of Music Educators Journal in July 2024.
