In 2024, Charles M. Atkinson (MM ’65, music education) published “On Modulation in Early Medieval Chant in East and West” in Musiktheorie 39. He also read papers at the meeting MedRen (Studies in Medieval and Renaissance Music) in Granada, Spain, and at the IMS Study Group Cantus Planus in Gödöllő, Hungary, that summer.
