In May 2024, tubist Brent Herhold (BM ’64, MM ’65, music education) performed with Altos Brass Quintet for the Palo Alto Fortnightly Club concert. He also joined the Stanford University Wind Symphony for their Spring Quarter Concert, which included James Barnes’s Symphony No. 3, with Herhold playing the opening tuba solo of the first movement.
