Undergraduate Funding Opportunities
Rolling Grants
Registered student organizations may apply for up to $500 in funds.
We invite registered student organizations to submit proposals for events that align with the Center’s mission to advocate for performance as a mode of research and as a means of public engagement, centering on underrepresented, non-Western, and diasporic voices, bodies, and acts. We seek to partner on events that cultivate dialogue about performance practices, performance theory, and topics relevant to the field of Performance Studies, particularly through a global lens.
Complete the application in full, accompanied by a budget detailing anticipated costs with all sources of support listed (pending and confirmed). All information must be returned at least six weeks prior to the event. Please contact [email protected] with questions.
CWPS funds cannot be used for any of the following:
- to pay stipends to student event organizers;
- costs associated with curricular projects, such as degree recitals or thesis projects;
- individual travel / study abroad.

The application requires that you upload a budget detailing anticipated costs. Please use the budget templates linked above. You MUST include all sources of support (pending and confirmed) to demonstrate how you intend to meet your budget expenses.

Graduate students may apply for up to $1000 in funds.
CWPS co-sponsors a wide variety of graduate student projects across the university—all of which serve to strengthen intellectual and cultural life on campus and beyond. Co-sponsorships and small project grants are considered on a rolling basis.
Graduate students may apply for up to $1000 in funds for a project or event co-sponsorship. Complete the application in full, accompanied by a budget detailing anticipated costs with all sources of support listed (pending and confirmed). CWPS Faculty Fellowship Funding for Summer Research
Each year, CWPS solicits proposals for summer research or faculty-led projects related to the mission of World Performance Studies. Proposals for the 2026-2027 Faculty Fellowship are due March 9, 2026. Visit our faculty fellowships page for application information.
