Bio
Olivia Brown Zandhuis is the Assistant Director of Admissions for the School of Music, Theatre & Dance.
Originally from Southeastern Ohio, Olivia graduated from Muskingum University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. While at Muskingum, Olivia was involved in all aspects of theatre, though her favorite areas of study were directing, costuming, and playwriting. She hosted a weekly music show on the university radio station and was a member of the Muskingum University Concert Choir.
Beginning her career in Enrollment in October 2017, Olivia previously worked as an Admissions Counselor for her alma mater and then at Columbus College of Art & Design. In 2019, Olivia transitioned to a communications-focused role at Columbus College of Art & Design. Olivia joined the SMTD Office of Admissions in 2022 as the Admissions Program Coordinator (Communications). Olivia is passionate about higher education and the arts, and she is excited now to serve the SMTD as the Assistant Director of Admissions.
Olivia is a playwright and pen-and-ink artist. Her hobbies include reading, creating art, writing plays and short fiction, playing video games and Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time with her two greyhounds, Harry & Sybil.
