Description: Popularized in the 1960s by the Beatles, each key of the Mellotron is associated with one of 35 magnetic-tape recorded samples. Musicians can switch between three standard sounds such as strings, cello, and an eight-voice choir. Flexibility and creativity is made possible by swapping out the tape rack with additional libraries of pre-recorded samples that the musician can program.
