Description: This Indian Bell stands 16.5 cm high and is made of brass. While the 1921 Stearns Catalogue reports that these would have been hung on the trappings of sacred elephants at Delhi, it is more likely that this is a temple bell. The iron clapper is attached to the bell with a hook. The bell is decorated with incised lines around the handle and raised top. The bottom of the bell has red writing on it.
