October 4–5, 2024: Great Lakes Regional Carillon Gathering
The 2024 U-M Organ Conference (Oct. 4–5) took place as a Great Lakes Regional Carillon Gathering at Burton Memorial Tower and Lurie Tower. The program featured guest artists Jonathan Lehrer (Michigan State University) and Dr. Linda Dzuris (Clemson University) in recitals and masterclasses. Featured composers were Dr. Julie Zhu and Navajo composer Connor Chee (midwest premiere of “Into the Glittering World,” additional new carillon arrangements, and his new Etudes for Piano).

A Century of Women and the Carillon‘s Timeline of “Firsts”
A Century of Women and the Carillon‘s Timeline of “Firsts” since 1950 by Tiffany Ng, Michelle Lam, and Sarah Penrose was the final product of a major research project. This project produced a multimedia timeline.
