Kimberly Miller
Department Manager for the Michigan Marching Band
Bio
As department administrator, Kimberly provides administrative and fiscal support and oversees operations of the Michigan Marching and Athletic Bands. She serves as a liaison to the Michigan Department of Athletics and and coordinates with visiting bands. She is the travel and logistics coordinator when the bands travel to away games and tournaments, executes purchases and payments for the department, and serves as facility and office manager of Revelli Hall. She also supervises and supports the student staff members of the Michigan Marching Band.
Kimberly has worked at the University of Michigan since 2008. Previous appointments include service as an advisor and program coordinator for the Program in the Environment (PitE) and as graduate program coordinator for the Department of Political Science (LSA). She is an experienced student services professional who enjoys supporting and guiding students as well as managing administrative processes and events.
Kimberly returns to the MMB where she was a four-year member of the clarinet section (2001-04) who also served as a rank leader, section leader, E-staff member, graduate student instructor, and Donald R. Shepherd Scholar. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2006.
