Room Reservations

Using ASIMUT

ASIMUT is our scheduling, room booking and event management software. It is used by SMTD students, faculty and staff.

The SMTD ASIMUT User Guide offers complete information about using the system.

Common Tasks

• Apply for Degree Recital Scheduling Access (Students)
• View existing reservations in a space
• Reserve a practice or rehearsal time
• Schedule my degree recital
• Arrange for keys and equipment

Room Reservation Policies

• Each student may reserve a room up to 3 weeks in advance
• Each student is given a total “quota” of 10 hours on their account
• Each student is responsible for the instruments and equipment in the room for the duration of the reservation

Last minute bookings

• “Last minute bookings” are designed to encourage the use of rooms that remain open and available
• These reservations can only be made within 12 hours of the desired time and can be made in addition to the “quota”

Cancellations

• If your plans change, please be considerate of others and cancel your booking
