Attend a Performance

SMTD presents hundreds of professional-level live performances every year—most of them free!  For those performances that are not, student tickets are only $13. That’s nearly 40% off the standard ticket price.

Our performance students are artists at the beginning of their professional careers, and many go on to be recognized names in their fields. Our productions are directed and designed by faculty members and guest artists, most of whom are working professionals themselves.

Performing Ensembles: A variety of performing ensembles are available to students from other U-M units. These ensembles are conducted by SMTD faculty and graduate students and perform in venues around campus including Hill Auditorium.
