Michigan Youth Symphonic Band

Up to date as of 03/1/21 for 2021-2022 season
The Michigan Youth Symphonic Band (MYSB) provides woodwind, brass and percussion students rigorous experience in performing intensive and demanding repertoire in a broad range of styles. The Michigan Youth Symphonic Band is open to advanced high-school aged level woodwind, brass and percussion musicians.

We are currently planning on holding MYSB rehearsals in person for the Fall 2021 Semester. In the event that conditions do not allow us to host rehearsals safely in person, we are also planning a robust online MYSB experience that will build upon what was offered during the 2020-2021 season.

U-M Faculty Director: Courtney Snyder, Associate Professor and Associate Director of Bands

Rehearsal Time: Sundays, 4:00 – 6:30 PM
Rehearsal Location: Hankinson Rehearsal Hall, Earl V. Moore Music Building (UM North Campus, 1100 Baits Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48109)
