Dance for Democracy

The 2020 Dance for Democracy will provide the University of Michigan Community a chance to commune on the evening of the Michigan Presidential Primary and build on the momentum generated by the Big Ten Voting Challenge.
Dance for Democracy will bring U-M students of all political views together at the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) to enjoy an evening of live music and dancing, as well as space for tabling for efforts related to democratic engagement, getting the vote out, education on election processes, and more.
Featured musicians include Detroit-based percussionist and DJ, Everett Reid with Kultur Grenade; Ann Arbor-based funk band, Sabbatical Bob; and Ann Arbor-based indie rock band the Kelseys. Other musical guests TBA.
Free and open to all U-M students.
