Freyja Harris

Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer


Freyja Harris is known for her eighteen years of professional leadership and program management experience within the fields of public administration and urban planning. Her areas of focus have included affordable housing, poverty reduction, homelessness prevention, education, disability services, arts & culture, and community development.  Throughout her career, she has addressed issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and access within policies, laws, and programs.

Freyja has managed complex programs with state-wide impact for federal and state government agencies in Florida, Colorado, and Michigan. In addition, she has worked for and partnered with diverse nonprofits and philanthropic foundations to empower communities and individuals to collaboratively work towards solutions and engage in meaningful dialogue to overcome obstacles and seize opportunities.
