An interdisciplinary residential community in Bursley Hall that brings together 80 undergraduates in the arts, architecture, engineering, and other fields to explore innovation, creativity and collaboration. Living Arts strives to provide an open, playful environment that encourages students to generate and pursue creative new ideas. Weekly classes and monthly workshops by distinguished faculty and working professionals from the fields of engineering, architecture, visual arts, film, music performance and composition, dance, and theatre. All Living Arts students take an interdisciplinary class together, work on collaborative projects, and are provided mentorship by older students and support for Living Arts students to create their own programming and events.
