Michigan Performing Arts College Fair, Saturday, September 29, 2018, University of Michigan, School of Music, Theatre & Dance, 1100 Baits Drive, Ann Arbor, MI

The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD), in partnership with the Michigan State University College of Music, will host the inaugural Michigan Performing Arts College Fair on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at SMTD’s E.V. Moore Building from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with an Admissions Panel at 1:00 PM.

This college fair is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a degree in the performing arts. Attendees can meet admissions representatives to learn about top colleges, conservatories, and universities from across the U.S.  Students, parents, and teachers are all welcome to attend.

1:00 – 2:00 PM Admissions Panel, Britton Recital Hall
Admissions representatives will offer insights on the admissions process and answer questions. Panelists:

  • Amy Anderson (Dean of Enrollment Management, Manhattan School of Music)
  • Matthew Ardizzone (Associate Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Eastman School of Music)
  • Ben Ebener (Director of Admissions, MSU College of Music)
  • Laura Hoffman (Assistant Dean for Admissions and Enrollment Management, U-M SMTD)
  • Joshua Teaser (Assistant Director of Conservatory Admissions, Oberlin Conservatory of Music)

2:00 – 4:00 PM College Fair, Hankinson Rehearsal Hall

Location

The Michigan Performing Arts College Fair will take place in the Earl V. Moore Building (1100 Baits Drive, Ann Arbor, MI) on U-M’s North Campus in Ann Arbor.

Check-in is located at the Soderquist Atrium in the Brehm Pavillion of the Moore Building – please enter through the doors adjacent to the visitor parking lot.
