Rikki Morrow-Spitzer (she/her/hers) joined the office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the fall of 2017 after receiving her bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from SMTD the previous year. As a student she was recognized for her commitment to diversity and her leadership and vision related to service with the Willis Patterson Diversity Award and the North Campus Spirit Award.
In her free time, she is the founder and administrative director of the Out of the Blue Choral Ensemble, music workshop facilitator for the Prison Creative Arts Project; and choir director for Holy Faith Church.
One of Rikki’s primary responsibilities is the coordination of the Performance Engagement Educational Residencies (PEERs) program that was developed with the Office of Engagement & Outreach. Rikki mentors students to foster mutually beneficial experiences with community organizations in underserved communities.
Rikki is committed to service and enjoys collaborating with people and organizations internally and external to SMTD.
