Rachel Dion

Admissions Officer

Rachel Dion joined the Office of Admissions after graduating from Hope College with a degree in Theatre and Communication in 2019. She is excited to return to Southeast Michigan where she grew up surrounded by a family of Wolverine fans.

During her four years at Hope College, Dion dedicated her energy to a diverse range of opportunities. From her work with the Hope Summer Repertory Theatre to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF), Dion loved witnessing the life-changing impact that the fine arts could have on students.

Through her work with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Dion was a member of the KCACTF/LORT ASPIRE Leadership Fellows Program in Washington, D.C. The program is designed to cultivate a new generation of artistic leaders – a recognition that Dion was honored to receive.

Dion is thrilled to be joining the Office of Admissions at SMTD. Go Blue!
