Emma Cotter


Emma is a choreographer, visual artist and the AD of RETTOCAMME, a process-oriented dance/art/design group founded in 2003. In NYC RETTOCAMME has been presented at the Bowery Poetry Club, Construction Co, Merce Cunningham, 92nd St Y and numerous festivals. In 2004, RETTOCAMME self-produced a two-week run of Treading Water. From May 2007-May 2008, RETTOCAMME created over a dozen site-specific installations for the Jonathan Shorr Gallery in SoHo and was also included in the gallery’s group visual arts show “Inside/Out”. Emma’s additional NYC choreography credits include Common Factor’s production of Jason Lindner’s Egyptian Rat Screw and Amy Axelson’s production of Stravinsky’s A Soldier’s Tale. Emma has been a guest artist at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT and UM. As a dancer, Emma appeared in Tatyana Tenenbaum’s In Like a Lion and Tristan Perich’s Impulse Manifold.
